When How I Met Your Mother returns on Sept. 19, unrequited love will be in the air.

Remember Season 4 of the CBS sitcom, when Barney was crushing hard on Robin? Well, flip it around and you’ve got the new season. After staring longingly at Barney as he and old flame Nora reconnected in last season’s finale, Robin will come to realize she’s still got feelings for the one that got away.

“There’s some pining for Barney happening at the moment,” says Cobie Smulders. “It’s all about her being really depressed and not quite knowing how to tell him how she feels.” Or if she should even tell him at all. “It’s a hard thing of knowing how she feels, but not knowing if it’s quite right to pursue,” she continues. “He seems like he’s really happy with Nora. He’s finally in a relationship that he’s seemingly very committed to seeing through.”

Tired of weeping during How I Met Your Mother? Join the club. Co-creator and EP Craig Thomas owes us all a box of tissues and a big hug for the emotional turmoil we’ve experienced watching Marshall deal with his father’s death. The good news? Thomas tells me there’s major funny on the way. For one, Marshall is in Minnesota for the next two episodes, and in the Feb. 7 episode, he (like many fans) is looking for a distraction from all the sadness.

Gisteravond was in Amerika de uitreiking van de People’s Choice Award. Hier kreeg o.a. Neil Patrick Harris een People’s Choice Award uitgereikt. Hij heeft van het publiek de meeste stemmen gekregen in de categorie Favorite TV Comedy Actor. De gehele lijst met winnaars is te vinden op: peopleschoice.com

Zoals in de naam People’s Choice Award zit heeft de kijker beslist wie de award mee naar huis mocht nemen. Naast NPH,was ook Alyson Hannigan genomineerd maar helaas won zij geen Award.
